Blackjack Rules
It doesn't matter if you are playing online, at a brick-and-mortar casino, or with a few friends at home; the rules of the traditional blackjack game remain the same.

- Split - if you have a pair, you can make two separate hands out of them with a second bet
- Surrender - give up half your wager and end your turn
If your hand goes over 21 points, this is known as a 'bust', and you will automatically lose the hand.
Once you have decided on the course of action, the dealer will either hit or stand depending on the value of their face-up card and their own set of blackjack rules.
If your hand is closer to 21 than the dealer, you win the bet; if the dealer has a higher hand total than you, you lose your bet. The dealer could also 'bust' by having a hand value exceeding 21.
That's pretty much the basics of blackjack; once you get a handful of games under your belt, you'll be able to quickly learn any variations that might come up.
