Below is how ke-bet.com treats the personal data that arrives here. Readers cannot register, subscribe or comment, so in practice a visit leaves only what a browser has to send to fetch a page.

Data controller

The controller is Catalinth Media Limited, Watergardens, Waterport, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. Privacy questions, access requests and objections: [email protected].

Data inventory

Ke-Bet does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, social-media pixels or advertising networks. We never receive your betting history, balances, ID documents or M-Pesa details; those stay with the operator where you hold an account, which is a separate controller.

Logs and the two visit cookies are justified by our legitimate interest in operating a small publication and knowing roughly how many people read it. The /go/ cookies are needed to complete the redirect you asked for. Correspondence is handled to answer your request. We do not profile readers and do not send marketing.

Who else sees the data

Logs are processed for us by our hosting company. A reader who clicks a /go/ link passes the bookmaker a referral code naming Ke-Bet, never a name or phone number. Police, courts or regulators get data only with a binding legal order. Nobody buys or rents reader data from us.

International transfers

We are based in Gibraltar and our servers are in the European Union. Readers in Kenya should know that their requests are processed outside Kenya; we apply the safeguards required by the data-protection rules that bind us.

Every mainstream browser lets you delete stored cookies and refuse new ones from its privacy settings. Ke-Bet still loads normally if you block them; without the /go/ cookies the operator may simply not know that you came from us.

Your rights

Ask us for an export of your data, a correction, erasure or a pause on its use; you can also oppose any use we base on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected]. A complaint can also go to your national data-protection regulator; for Kenyan residents that is the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Minors

Ke-Bet is aimed at adults. Messages we discover were sent by a child under 18 are erased.

Updates

Each revision of this notice takes over from the old text once it goes online.

Betting should stay a game

Ke-Bet is an independent Kenyan betting guide. We are not a bookmaker and we take no bets. Every operator on this site is checked for three things: whether it holds a Kenyan licence or only an offshore one, whether it keeps balances in shillings and pays out through M-Pesa, Airtel Money, PesaLink or a Kenyan bank, and whether the bonus it advertises has terms a player can actually read. Links to operators are commercial: a partnership can affect where a brand sits in a list, never the licence, bonus terms or limits we quote, and where a brand has no verified bonus figure we leave the row out rather than invent one. Odds, bonus figures and limits change — read the operator's own terms before you stake.

Betting in Kenya is licensed by the Gambling Regulatory Authority, created by the Gambling Control Act 2025 and in force since 26 August 2025. The GRA took over from the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB), and the handover finished in February 2026 — licences issued under the old board still carry the BCLB wording. Stakes carry excise duty and winnings carry withholding tax, which the operator deducts before it pays you.
